Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor have begun shooting for their upcoming film ‘Ok Jaanu’, the official remake of Mani Ratnam’s tamil film Ok Kanmani which featured Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menon.
However, shooting of the film has been temporarily put on hold as Aditya hurt his back during the shoot.
“Aditya won’t be able to shoot for a week. Work has been stalled and will resume in April” a source close to the film confirmed.
‘Ok Jaanu’ is being directed by Shaad Ali (who also directed the ‘Saathiya’ remake) and is being produced by Karan Johar. Oscar winning music composer A.R. Rahman has composed the music.
The film marks the return of the much-liked ‘Aashiqui 2’ onscreen pair of Aditya and Shraddha.
Aditya was last seen in the debacle ‘Fitoor’, while Shraddha awaits the release of ‘Baaghi’ next month.
