Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has recorded the 6th highest opening day collections of 2016. The opening has been marked as ‘excellent’ because not only was it competing against a bigger film, but also released during the ‘pre-diwali’ period. The level of opening is same as Akshay Kumar’s Rustom.
The other release of the week, Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay, has made it to the Top 10. The fate on Day 1 was similar to Mohenjo Daro, but the word-of-mouth for Shivaay seems to be better.
Sultan remains the film to beat this year. Unless Dangal springs a big surprise, Sultan should retain the top spot.

How indicine can u rate a dull, boring, stretched movie a 3.5 star?
This was not even 50% of my xpectation.
Except Songs there is nothing good in the movie. Anushka Sharma overacted a lot esp. in first half. Ranbir was very good.

I am sure Shivaay will pick up from Monday bcoz ADHM is a bad n boring movie.
Media is trying to projevt ADHM as hit.Thanks to controversy, Diwali period the movie can score big but ottherwise the movie hasnot been liked muchand will have gone TAMASHA way which failed despite MEDIA ‘ s hardwork

I also hope you remember Guddu, Maya Memsaab, Oh Darling Yeh Hai India, Zamana Deewana, English Babu Desi Mem… Who did all these movies? Your Queen’s body double ? The difference is Salman can even make a director like Ali Abbas Zadar among top directors and Srk makes Sholay director retire with a dud Zamana Deewana.

Whereas lallu’s flops and disasters are so many that one need photocopy memory to remember their names. And probably you haven’t watched Zamaana Deewana.
