Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has recorded the 6th highest opening day collections of 2016. The opening has been marked as ‘excellent’ because not only was it competing against a bigger film, but also released during the ‘pre-diwali’ period. The level of opening is same as Akshay Kumar’s Rustom.
The other release of the week, Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay, has made it to the Top 10. The fate on Day 1 was similar to Mohenjo Daro, but the word-of-mouth for Shivaay seems to be better.
Sultan remains the film to beat this year. Unless Dangal springs a big surprise, Sultan should retain the top spot.

Manipulation is not good, As Salman will bear the responsibility of bringing manipulation with his ETT back in 2012 when he did 14 cr manipulation(199 cr manipulated fig, but actual was 185 cr). But the team who took it to the sky level was Rakesh Roshan and Hrithik with a humongous 68 cr for Krrish 3.( manipulated fig 244 cr, actual 176 cr).

Watched shivaay !! seriously it was not upto the mark. I dont like ajay devgn as a person but he is a good actor. I was expecting a good movie but eventually it disappoints.

Watched both ADHM & Shivaay today. Since I don’t have much time these days, I am gonna just leave some brief comments on my experiences of both films.
#ADHM
An entertaining and fun riding 1st half! Certainly, enjoyable!
But it has nothing new but mash up of his earlier films with some concept of friendship of girls and boys.
Ranbir rocked. Anuska rocked. Fawad excelled.
Aish looked smoking hot in every frame but she is in the film only to do lusty scenes. She made entry only in the second half.
It is not suitable for the family audiences at all. Not even for the married couple. There is so much betrayals and stuffs of extramarital affairs.
My rating: 2/5*****

Shivaay starts on ordinary node. Shivaay is a mountain hiker and hiking guide in Himalya. He and Olga fell in love and had a girl child. She is a mute by birth, her mom left them.
As she grew up, when she came to know her mom is alive, she desperately wants to her. Her gather took her to Bulgaria to make her meet her mom.
She gets kidnapped. The real story starts.
Although, it was advertised as an action film, it tackled some hard hitting issues like human trafficking and flesh trade.
It is a must watch although sometimes the pace of the film slows down. In short, it is Ajay Devgn’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
Well shot, well directed, well after… Suitable for all sections of audiences.

Ajay knew he is going to fight against Kjo who is one of the most powerful person in the industry backed by 2 powerful artist 1.Anushka the leading lady of two 300 cr grosser & the most powerful artist of the movie. 2. Aishwarya rai who is the darling of masses. Still Ajay is fighting who is the sole crowd puller of his movie
I am surprised to see plutorian barking about CLASH. They forgot the SURGICAL STRIKE Sultan team did with them. Sultan team was all set to fight & win the battle but they didn’t knew the lead of the opponent was a coward just watching a 50s teaser they packed & ran away 1000 miles (from June to January) relentlessly like a coward & made sure they are safe.
