Varun Dhawan’s ABCD 2 has entered the all time list of highest opening day collections. The film makes it to the 25th spot, ahead of old releases like ‘Housefull 2’ and ‘Talaash’.
ABCD 2 is the first film of 2015 to make it to the list and by far the biggest opener of the year, with about 10% more collections than Akshay Kumar’s ‘Gabbar Is Back’.
The Top 10 all-time list is dominated by Hrithik Roshan (3 films in the Top 10), followed by Shahrukh Khan (2 films in Top 5), Salman Khan (2 films in Top 10) and Aamir Khan (2 films in Top 10).

Hrithik Roshan is under-rated by the media.. Each of his last 3 films have entered the Top 10 and he has dominated the box office with just one festival release.. as compared to Khans who always only want to release their films on Eid, Diwali or Christmas.
I work for Bookmyshow.. so can confirm that ticket prices at multiplexes are about 20-25% more for Khan films as compared to Hrithik. Only Krrish 3 tickets were on the same level as it released during Diwali.
SRK has 2 movies in top 3.. Aamir has 1 (thanks to Dhoom Franchise as his Taalash opening was 13cr after promoting it for 3 years as you can see on last spot, his real aukaat ) and Salman has 0.. even after doing blockbuster south remakes.. but Bhai fans don’t need to be worried as Bhai has 10/10 openings ( topper ) but only in Court…
