It’s difficult to make predictions for a film like ABCD 2, mainly because the film, like Tanu Weds Manu Returns, should take a decent opening both at single-screens and multiplexes. It also features a bankable star like Varun Dhawan, who has a 100% success ratio so far in his career. All his films have opened well at the box office too.

His latest release ABCD 2 should be his biggest opener to date as advance booking of the film is better than films like Baby, Gabbar Is Back and even Tanu Weds Manu Returns.
As part of our #IndicineFBO predictions, we expect ABCD 2 to collect Rs 12.5 crore on Day 1. The fact that the film is also releasing in 3D should also give its business a decent boost at multiplexes.

In the long run, the film has plenty of open weeks before the release of Bajrangi Bhaijaan. If it carries appreciation, ABCD 2 should go on to be second 100 crore grosser of 2015 after Tanu Weds Manu Returns. There is the Ramadan factor and rains hitting Maharashtra too, which will both affect the business of the film.

The fact it is a dance film in 3D with popular young stars, should be enough to get a good opening. I think ABCD 2 would have got a good opening with any star because of its appeal among youth. Although, I don’t expect it to be anywhere close to Step Up series.

It will not cross 10 crores.. n lifetime will depend on its script. Which i think will be average. So lifetime shd be somewhere between 70 to 80 crores. No way it can cross the 100 cr mark.

4 open weeks are enough for the film to cross 100 crore as the opening is always going to be very good..lets see where it ends up before Bajrangi bhaijaan releases

I would definitely support all the dancers from dance india dance. I support art and talent. shradda and varun are doing an excellent job in the trailers. a must watch for me.
I truly hope that this film makes over 100 crores, not becuz I fangirl over Varun…..both varun and shraddha are good,……but i want this movie to do really well becuz of the supporting cast and crew, there are phenomenal dance sequences in this film, beautifully choreographed……and so for Remo Sir, for introducing India’s first dance film franchise, and for the hard work these amazing dancers lyk dharmesh, punit, raghav , sushant and others have put in , I want this film to be a BLOCKBUSTER.
