Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has wished his good friend Salman Khan on Diwali and also for his upcoming film ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’, which releases a day after Diwali puja.
“Happy Diwali Salman! Wishing Sooraj, Sonam and you your biggest success ever! Love. a.” Aamir tweeted.
At the box office, Salman will be chasing the record set by Aamir Khan’s PK during Christmas last year. He came close during Eid this year, what with Bajrangi Bhaijaan collecting Rs 321 crore at the box office, but the film fell short of PK by around 20 crore.
Expectations from Prem Ratan Dhan Payo are high and if the film manages to carry the word-of-mouth that ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ did, it has every chance of becoming the highest grosser of all time.
For all his super-stardom and back-to-back blockbusters since 2010, the one record that Salman hasn’t achieved in the last 5 years is giving the industry its highest grosser.
