The incredible transformation of Aamir Khan in less than 2 months is mind-boggling to say the least. After gaining 30 kilos in 6 months to play the role of a wrestler in his upcoming film ‘Dangal’, the actor is on a weight losing spree.
The reason for losing weight is again for the same film, as Aamir will be shooting for sequences where his character is about 2 decades younger.
Sources say, there are two reasons why Aamir decided to shoot the older character first. One, it would make the task of getting back into shape easier when there is a deadline that has to be met. And two, he wanted to live the role of the older man first before playing the younger version of the character.
The actor maintains a strict diet and trains in the gym for hours each day. The results are astounding.
- Weight Gained in 6 months: 25-30 kilos
- Weight Lost in 2 months: 13 kilos
- Weight he will be losing in the next 2 months: 12 kilos
Check out the pictures of his fat, unhealthy self a couple of months ago and then compare it to his fit physique at his birthday celebrations yesterday. During times when people struggle to lose 1-2 kgs of weight, this man has gained 30 kgs in 6 months and will shed all the weight he gained in 4-5 months. Not only is he going to lose weight, but Aamir has met Olympic medalist Sushil Kumar to discuss his diet and training schedule.
In the next couple of months, Aamir will be gaining a physique quite similar to professional wrestlers who compete at Olympic Games. All this for one film from a man who turned 51 yesterday!
He could have as well signed a commercially safe entertainer and the film would have probably become a bigger success at the box office. But Aamir being Aamir, he wants to give the audience something new with each outing.

Drishyams Suspense was opened before its release due to regional film remake .Also it faced tough competition due to Banrangi and Bahubali .If Drishyam was better release then it might collect 130cr like airlift.

Talaash was a dark noirish psychological thriller which earned 95cr in 2012.

These excellent bollywood thrillers didn’t work in the box office because they didn’t have a superstar in them.Aamir’s presence made Talaash released in the november month of 2012 a 95cr grosser and that’s mind boggling because Akshay’s masala film Khilada released a week later.
Moreover Aamir and Ajay,two big superstars of the country had the guts to make such films which rarely works in the box office.

PK = 340 crores, because it was controversial, it created controversy and hence people went to see it.
Dilwale = 140 crores, there was controversy and hence people did not go to see it.
