‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ director Kabir Khan has said Aamir Khan is one of the finest and biggest actors that we have in our country.
“He (Aamir) is somebody I look up to…he is one of the finest and biggest actors our country has ever seen,” Kabir said.
“He talks about various issues and does films on them. I respect him and his views. He is a very dedicated actor. There is a lot to look up to in him” the director said.
Khan also spoke about his ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ star, Salman Khan, who would treat the entire cast and crew of the film with home cooked food.
“While we were shooting for ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ I remember food used to come from Salman’s house everyday. At least 8 to 10 dishes that too for 40 people! Salma aunty (Salman’s mother) cooks amazing food. When we shoot in Mumbai or around Mumbai the food comes from Salman’s house” Kabir said, during an event to launch Arshad Warsi’s wife Maria Goretti’s book launch.
“Maria has worked very hard for it (book). She is very dedicated, authentic and realistic person and made sure everything was proper right from the recipes to the colour of the dishes in the book”
The director also said he believes in eating everything, but working out to stay fit.
“I have seen Salman eating food items from briyani to pastries and then he does exercise. I feel this is the right way. I think the diet food that we get is chemically treated it is better” Kabir said

I love Aamir Khan as an actor. I think he is one of the best talented actors we have today and he deserves to called Mr Perfectionist.
On the other, have to admit Akki is the best chef in the industry. Wish if he could focus what he is good for. He doesn’t make me laugh coz he just ain’t got the thing which made khans, HR, Ajay and Ranbir supertars.

People have started taking Kabir Khan seriously after BB . Phantom was average but BB was one of the Best movies of 2015 . I am excited for the fact that Kabir Khan and Hrithik will work together . I just hope the script is different and the starcast should be finalized as soon as possible . 100% true..in the last 7-8 years or so Aamir Khan has taken the box office to an altogether different level..He has founded each and every major club till now starting from 100 crore to the recent 300 crore..the only film this year that can challenge or eventually beat PK,(with all due to respect to Fan,Raees,Sultan, Mohenjadaro) Is only Dangal..Aamir Khan is smart enough to know which film he has to release on Christmas so expecting a mammoth grosser to end the year on a high..
