The mass-hysteria for Salman Khan’s 50th birthday is unprecedented. It’s not just the fans in Mumbai who are celebrating the birthday of the iconic megastar, but fans from all over the country have gathered to celebrate his birthday in different ways. Some have organised small parties, while others have gone for extravagant celebrations.
One such celebration took place in Surat, Gujarat, where fans of Salman Khan cut a 400 feet long cake that weighed nearly 5000 kgs. In true ‘Being Human’ style, the cake was cut and distributed to more than 200 orphanages in the city.
Fans on Social media say, the process of making the cake started on December 25 and it took them more than 36 hours to prepare the cake. It’s the longest cake in the world and the members from Guinness Book of World Records and Limca Book of Records are said to have arrived in the city to register the record.
