The occupancy was way ahead of every other release this year, except Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Kapil Sharma’s debut film ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon’ has exceeded all expectations on Day 1, as the film has collected around Rs 8 crore on its opening day at the box office. The holiday for Bakrid has helped, but the opening still falls in the ‘excellent’ category as the opening is better than 90% of films released this year and is comparable to much bigger films like ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’, ‘Phantom’ and even ‘Baby’. Hero has shown a small drop in business on its second day at the box office, which is normal for films like these. A similar film, ‘Heropanti’, starring newcomers Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon, also showed similar drops. ‘Heropanti’ collected Rs 6.52 cr on Friday and Rs 6.29 cr on Saturday. In comparison, ‘Hero’ has collected Rs 6.85 crore on Friday and 6.62 crore on Saturday. However, ‘Heropanti’ showed huge growth on Sunday by collecting Rs 8.2 crore.
