The advance booking of Shah Rukh Khan’s Dilwale opened all over India on Monday. The initial response has been terrific, with tickets selling faster than all movies released this year.  When contacted, a source from online portal BookMyShow.com, confirmed the same.

Hate Story 3 opened well at the box office on Friday and sustained well on Saturday to collect Rs 17.77 crore in 2 days. The film is also performing fairly well on Sunday, even though the occupancy isn’t quite as high as the opening day of the film. Hate Story 3 in Top 15 highest openers of 2015

Zarine Khan’s Hate Story 3 has entered the Top 15 highest openers of 2015. It’s by far the least expensive film in the Top 15, with the cost-of-productions as less as 1/10th of some movies. For example, the landing cost of Bombay Velvet was Rs 120 crore. Hate Story 3, which was produced and marketed for less than Rs 15 crore, has collect 86% more than Bombay Velvet on Day 1.

Salman Khan’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is nearing the end of its run and the film has performed well both at the domestic and overseas markets. All Time India Records: Prem Ratan Dhan Payo recorded the second highest opening day collections of all time, behind Shah Rukh Khan’s Happy New Year. Out of the Top 30 highest single day collections of all time, a Salman Khan film finds a mention 13 times, which is staggering to say the least. Salman has also become the ONLY actor to deliver collections of 30 crore or more, on a single day, 7 times!

Tamasha set to be Ranbir Kapoor’s 7th Highest Grosser

Tamasha is set to be the 7th highest grosser of Ranbir Kapoor’s career, as likely to collect a little more than 60 crore at the domestic box office. The collections will be poorer than ‘Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahaani’ which is Ranbir’s 3rd most successful film after ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ and ‘Barfi’.

Tamasha First Week Box Office Collections

Tamasha has completed its first week run at the box office, with net box office collections of Rs 53.46 crore. The film collected Rs 38.23 crore in its first weekend, but business showed big drops during the weekdays. The collections from Monday to Thursday was just Rs 15.23 crore, which is extremely poor for a big film like Tamasha.

Tamasha vs Dil Dhadakne Do: Box Office Comparison

Update: The gap between Dil Dhadakne Do and Tamasha has widened on Day 5. The total collections in 5 days – Dil Dhadakne Do 47.91 crore and Tamasha 47.37 crore. Tamasha vs Dil Dhadakne Do makes for a very interesting box office comparison because both films were produced at approximately the same costs, Tamasha was the bigger film in terms of star cast and the target audience was the same.
