Bollywood actresses with most 100 crore films

After actors with most 100 crore films, it’s time to find out which Bollywood actress has the most 100 crore films to her credit. Deepika Padukone was late to the 100 crore club – her first film was Race 2 which crossed the 100 crore mark in January 2013 – but since then, she has been pretty much unstoppable. Currently, the ‘Queen of Bollywood’ has six films that have collected 100 crore or more.

Bollywood actors with most 100 crore films

42 films have crossed the 100 crore mark at the domestic (India) box office and a majority of those major grossers have featured bankable male stars in the lead. The only exceptions are Tanu Weds Manu Returns and Grand Masti – both of which were sequels to successful films.

Can Emraan Hashmi make a strong comeback with Azhar?

Emraan Hashmi is going through the toughest phase of his career. He hasn’t had a ‘HIT’ since 2012 and his latest film releases 4 years after his last success (Raaz 3) at the box office. The average net collections of his last 8 films is less than Rs 26 crore, which is what big films nowadays collect on Day 1. Even smaller films like ’Baaghi’, ‘Kapoor & Sons’, ‘Ki & Ka’ manage to collect 26 crore or more in 2-3 days.

FAN Worldwide Box office Collections and Analysis

Shah Rukh Khan’s FAN has completed its 3rd week run at the domestic box office, with net collections of Rs 1.15 crore. The 21-day / 3 week total of the film now stands at Rs 84.10 crore, which is disastrous for a big film like FAN. The film is out of most theatres in Week 4. The worldwide gross is Rs 183.5 crore, which means FAN is likely to be SRK’s first release since 2008’s Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, that will fail to cross the 200 crore mark worldwide.

Baaghi Total Box Office Collections, Budget, Verdict

Sajid Nadiadwala’s Baaghi has performed phenomenally well at the domestic box office. It’s the only film in 2016 that has performed well in the core Hindi belt of India, which includes single-screens at mass centres. Baaghi has given the industry yet another promising young star, but what’s unique for Tiger is his out-and-out action image. His screen-presence and the way he performs his action sequences hold the potential to make him a celebrated mass-hero in the years to come.

Baaghi records 3rd Highest Monday of 2016

Baaghi has recorded the 3rd highest first Monday of 2016, lower than the year’s highest grossers ‘Airlift’ and ‘The Jungle Book’. But the film is higher than a major release like Shah Rukh Khan’s FAN, Sidharth-Alia’s Kapoor & Sons and Sonam Kapoor’s Neerja. The trend is excellent for a film like Baaghi and the film has now gained momentum even at multiplexes – where it did not open well on Friday.

Baaghi Day 4 (Monday) Box Office Collections

Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi has passed the Monday test, as the film is set to cross the 6 crore mark on its first weekday. As per early estimates, Baaghi has collected around 6 – 6.25 crore on Monday. The film is going strong in circuits like Delhi/UP, Rajasthan, Bihar, C.I, C.P and it’s these circuits that will continue to drive the business of the film. In Gujarat too, the film has shown an excellent trend, both over the weekend, followed by a very good hold on Monday. It’s the smaller B and C centres that are generating a healthy number of footfalls, which hasn’t been the case for most films this year – apart from the Hollywood release ‘The Jungle Book’.
