Buzz is that Anurag Basu will be re-shooting portions of Jagga Jasoos, his upcoming detective movie with Ranbir Kapoor in the lead.
Ranbir and Anurag had earlier teamed up for Barfi which was well received at the box office. The pair has come together again for this detective movie with Katrina Kaif as the female lead.
The shooting for the first phase of the film has been completed, but reports suggest that Basu is not satisfied with some of the scenes that were shot.
The director of acclaimed films like Murder and Life In a Metro, has decided that some of the scenes featuring Ranbir could have been done better and hence called for a reshoot.
A close source in the films unit revealed that over 20 days of shooting is now complete with both Katrina and Ranbir Kapoor appearing in most of them.
With the super success of Barfi, Anurag wants to ensure that his pairing up with Ranbir turns out equally good and hits the jackpot again, hence the decision to redo the scenes.
To make up for the extended time, the director will alter the schedule in the second phase making sure the shooting runs smoothly and completes in the set time.
Also starring Adah Sharma and Govinda, Jagga Jasoos is scheduled to hit screens the weekend after IPL in 2015.
I have heard that It will have 20 odd songs composed by Pritam who had also given the Barfi score and Ranbir teaming up with Anurag after Barfi will help it gain more buzz
Ranbir is a good actor and he is there with the top stars in terms of box office
