Actress Shruti Haasan, who was last seen in Ramaiyaa Vastavaiya and D-Day, was attacked by an unknown man at her residence in Mumbai.
The man, suspected to be her stalker, reportedly rang Shruti’s door bell at 9.30 in the morning and when she answered, he tried to barge in to her house and strangle her.
She fought back and managed to push the attacker away.
Apparently, the attacker’s hand was jammed in the door, which helped Shruti escape unhurt. She is reportedly still in a state of shock.
