Excel Entertainment’s Fukrey has done well in its first week at the box office. After a slow start over the weekend, the film was rock-steady during the weekdays.
The first week business is similar to films like Commando, Jolly LLB, Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster and Go Goa Gone (which collected about 1.5 cr more, but featured a star like Saif Ali Khan).
All those above mentioned films (except Jolly LLB), wrapped up with lifetime collections of around 22-25 crore. Since Fukrey has trended better than most films over the weekdays, it’ll be interesting to see if the film can cross the 25 crore mark.

Jolly LLB was so much hyped, and it was just a amateurish attempt by the director. It just conveyed nothing, except that Boman was outstanding.
