Department opens to empty houses

Despite a good star-cast comprising of actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt and Rana Daggubati, Department has opened to empty houses all over India. The occupancy for morning shows was lower than Tezz and Players.

The reports are very negative, and unless it picks up for the late evening and night shows, Department will be one of the biggest commercial disasters of the year.

The other release this weekend, Mr Bhatti On Chutti was a non-starter.

Chhota Bheem is doing well at select multiplexes.
