Munnabhai and Circuit reunite!

Bollywood’s most iconic onscreen duo – Munnabhai and Circuit – reunited on Day 3 of the festival held to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Vidhu Vinod Chopra films.

While Sanjay Dutt said he would love to play Munnabhai even at the age of 80, Rajkumar Hirani the director of both the films said he can’t imagine anyone else playing Munnabhai or Circuit.

Sanju also said, he’s quite lucky to get to play a character like Munnabhai “It is a memorable film and a memorable role. Actors very rarely get a chance to do such roles and I think I am lucky”

When asked about the third film in the series, Raju said “We want the third film to be better than the previous two. So it’s getting delayed because script wise it still needs to be strong. We will definitely make the third film. The film should release much before 2014.”
