Malaika Arora Khan set the silver screen on fire with ‘Munni Badnaam Hui’ item number in 2010. The song went on to be a chartbuster and still remains popular 2 years after it’s release. But if rumors are to be believed, Kareena Kapoor will replace Malaika for an item number in Dabangg 2.
Kareena’s last item number was in Don way back in 2006. Apparently, her next item song (a mujra) from Saif Ali Khan’s action spy film Agent Vinod is doing the rounds.
Considering Salman Khan’s and Bebo’s well received pairing in Bodyguard, the actress seems to be the preferred choice. Original composers Lalit Pandit or Sajid-Wajid have been roped in to compose the song.
Apart from Salman, the film features Sonakshi Sinha, Arbaaz Khan and Prakash Raj in significant roles. Dabangg 2 is scheduled to go on floors on March 9th.
