Amrita Rao New Pics

Amrita Rao’s career started off well with hits like Ishq Vishq and Main Hoon Na. Her popularity peaked with the release of Sooraj Barjatya’s Vivah in the year 2006, after which she was expected to move on to bigger films.

Unfortunately, some of her films didn’t do well and things didn’t go as planned after the super-sucess of Vivah, where her role as a simple girl-next-door was liked immensely. 

She then took the glam-route in Short Kut: The Con is On and a few magazine covers, but that didn’t work either.

Not all is lost for her though, as Shyam Benegal has signed Amrita Rao for a meaty role in a biopic of Maharani Gayatri Devi.
