The first shooting schedule of ‘Kedarnath’, starring Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead, will begin on September 3 near Dehradun. The film marks the acting debut of Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara Ali Khan.
The film will be directed by Abhishek Kapoor, who will also be co-producing ‘Kedarnath’ along with KriArj Entertainment, T-Series, Guy In The Sky Pictures in association with Balaji Motion Pictures.
Abhishek said “This coalition of producing partners has added tremendous value to our film, and we are grateful and excited to have their backing.”
Bhushan Kumar of T-Series said “‘Kedarnath’ is a very prestigious film. It’s a love story set in the land of Shiva, of whom, I am strong believer. My devotion towards Lord Shiva is utmost and this further makes this film very special.”
Ekta Kapoor also released a statement saying “The film is an emotional and riveting story set in India’s heartland, where raw romance unfolds amidst the beauty of Kedarnath.”
‘Kedarnath’ is a love story set amidst the holy temple town of Kedarnath in Uttarakhand. The film will release in the first half of 2018.

Nice to hear this.Urban romantic comedy is slowly becoming extinct.The producers and directors should stop taking the audience for granted.

Again a starkid getting launched without giving any proper tests, Bollywood will never gain it’s lost glory when Aadar Jain, Anya, Sara Ali etc starkids will keep getting movies without any talent. Bollywood should find some talent rather than supporting nepotism

This title reminds me Allu Arjun’s movie “Badrinath”……That was also a love story, I hope they are not making remake of that movie or copy from that…..

So Sushant will have 3 movies in 2018 . Chanda Maama Door Ke, Drive and Kedarnath . Abhishek Kapoor made Rock On and Kai Po Che which were amazing films but he failed big time with Fitoor . Waiting for the release date . !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
