It is getting bigger & bigger each day. I hope Ali Abbas won’t disappoint with content. Anything less than Sultan’s level will be average for me.
For some Salman haters, Raju Hirani & RK are new papas for them expecting Salman downfall. Forget beating TZH let it clash first.
One always has a high expectations from a Salman Khan film, be it content or collections. I am curious if he can manage to beat Sultan’s record of fastest 200 cr(in 7 days). Both Tubelight and TZH are solid on paper and have 4-day weekends with both Eid and Xmas falling on Monday.
I think TZH will open bigger for its commercial elements. If TZH opens 35 cr+ like Dhoom 3 did and maintains 30 cr+ on Saturday and (this is a bold expectation) manage to hold 40 cr+ on both Sunday and Monday(Xmas day). A 150 cr+ weekend and I hope Tuesday and Wednesday sustain at 20 cr+ levels. If not TZH, Tubelight might achieve it. Because that might get outstanding WOM. Even if that’s not possible 200 cr+ in less than 7 days is sure shot again. I feel I kind of over-expected but it never hurts in over-expecting from Salman or Aamir movie.
On a lighter note, a Salman movie this decade out of the Eid weekend, except Ready wasn’t really upto my expectations (Jai Ho, PRDP and Dabangg 2). I hope he ends that dry spell with Tiger Zinda Hai.
