Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan will return in the third instalment of the ‘Don’ series of films. Nearly 6 years after the second film in the series, the makers say they have finally found the right idea.
“We are thinking about Don 3 and we are thinking very hard on it. We have found the right idea, it’s being written now. We will make an official announcement soon” Ritesh was quoted as saying by Press Trust Of India.
When asked about the cast and director, Ritesh said “Wait for the announcement.”
The first ‘Don’ film released in 2006 and won the box office clash with Salman and Akshay’s Jaan-e-Mann. The second film released in 2011. Both movies featured SRK and Priyanka Chopra and both did well at the box office.

This is bloody awesome news only if it’s true. In last 3 yrs, have read many articles quoting Farhan and ritesh sidwani about don3 scripting is on but no official announcement about when will it’s shoot start.
Don series is d best thriller series Indian cinema has specially 2nd one. SRK FARHAN combo with excellent content of don series has made sure its a profitable venture for all involved in it. Don2 did 110cr nett from India alone in 2011. By today’s inflation, it’s 150cr. If don3 is as good as don2, then 150-200cr from India alone is guaranteed thus easily becoming the record to beat in this genre. It will benefit immensely from franchise value.
Hopefully it goes on floors by start of 2018 and may we see don3 in 2019.
