The release date of Kangana Ranaut’s Simran has been announced. The film, directed by Hansal Mehta, will release in theatres on 15th September 2017. Shailesh R Singh and Bhushan Kumar will be producing the film.
The month of September 2017 has two releases now, Varun Dhawan’s Judwaa 2 on September 29 and Kangana Ranaut’s Simran releasing two weeks before on September 15.
Kangana also has Vishal Bhardwaj’s Rangoon on February 24, a film in which she shares screen-space with Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan.

Simran looks like a women oriented movie with a strong female character portrayed by KR . It is based on a real life event . The release date is good as it comes 2 weeks before J2 .
