Housefull 3 has started strongly on Sunday, as business at both single-screens and multiplexes have shown good growth in occupancy for the morning shows.
The key for Housefull 3 would now be to sustain the level of business throughout the day, as business for the late night shows at multiplexes will drop.
The previous film in the series ‘Housefull 2’, jumped by 3 crore on Sunday from Saturday. If ‘Housefull 3’ witnesses similar growth, then the film could cross the first day business of ‘FAN’ and record the highest single day collections of 2016. The target will be to cross 19.2 crore and get as close to 20 crore as possible. That would ensure a healthy first weekend total of around 51 crore.

Honestly H3 has not performed the way it should have in the first 2 days . I am going to watch H3 today with my family . I am going with zero expectations but it should be a Timepass movie . Your lifetime predictions are almost right everytime . H3 will find it tough to beat RR as per the current trends . If H3 holds well on Monday than it has a chance to do well in the long run . H3 has plenty of time to do business as Te3n and Udta Punjab will have limited appeal . Blue, TMK, OUATIMD and Brothers all these big ticket movies have failed . Whether H3 will join this list or not we will get to see in the next few days . The success of H3 is really important for Comedy genre as this genre is falling badly .
