Veteran actor Dilip Kumar has been admitted to Lilavati hospital in Mumbai on Saturday morning. He has been diagnosed with pneumonia. The actor’s family friend Udaya Tara Nayyar confirmed the same.
“He had high fever today (Saturday) morning so we got him to hospital. The actor has pneumonia and the doctors have started the medication,” Udaya Tara Nayar said.
“He is stable now, and under observation. The actor is not in ICU. He is doing fine” Nayar informed.
Dilip Kumar, 93, was rushed to the hospital on Saturday morning due to fever and breathing problem.

Wished could have seen more movies of his. Especially the original Devdas. Have just watched two movies of his : Karma and Shakti.
In Karma I saw him towering over excellent actors like Naseeruddin Shah, Anupam Kher, Anil Kapoor and Jackie Shroff.
And in Shakti (awesomesttttttttttttttttt movie), saw him edging over another great actor Amitabh Bachchan.
Just watched 2 movies of his but those 2 movies alone gave an idea about what an acting icon he is and why it was that every actor wanted to copy him.
