Ki and Ka has sustained reasonably well in its second weekend at the box office, but the film was affected by ‘The Jungle Book’ wave at multiplexes across the country.
The film has collected Rs 8.24 crore in its second weekend, showing decent growth both on Saturday and Sunday. The 10-day total now stands at Rs 46 crore. The ‘role reversal’ film will cross the 50 crore mark by the end of the second week and will finish with lifetime business of around 53-55 crore.
The distributors share from domestic (India) business will be around 25 crore, the overseas share will in the 10 crore range – giving the film a 35 crore share from theatrical business.
For a film made on a budget of Rs 32 crore, Ki and Ka has recovered its investment and made a profit of 2-3 crore from theatrical business alone. Additionally, the film had fetched Rs 13 crore from Satellite Rights (Colors) and Rs 4 crore from Music.

Feeling frustrated on u @indicine just absent for one day in ur site, U published news of the year, really missed the chance, anyway feeling pity on srk fans but they should feel themselves lucky as the class has been averted if not so then it would have been a disaster, in any other day they may get support of Salman fans which may add a few to the collection. Jungle mein rehte hue sher ke sath aur bollywood mein rehte hue Salman ke sath panga lena bahat bhari padegi. Srk knows it & it’s a wise move though.

Finally, Arjun needed this film to be a Hit so bad,all in all it is a unique film compared to most Rom Coms,thats why i think it worked at the Box office.
Every website ans media house has declared it as hit while few as semi hit but still some losers like @mayuri @ajinkya believe it’s all fake. Lol
So now Arjun has 2 Hits in the month of April – 2 States and Ki & Ka . Now his next movie Half Girlfriend will also release on 28th April 2017. It will be directed by Mohit Suri produced by Balaji Productions also starring Shraddha Kapoor and based on the Chetan Bhagat’s novel – Half Girlfriend . One thing is sure it will have brilliant music as Mohit has a great understanding of music . Awaarapan, Zeher, Murder 2, Crook, A2, EV and HAK all had great songs .
