Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor will begin shoot for ‘Half Girlfriend’ and the remake of ‘O Kandhal Kanmani’ after she finishes the shooting of ‘Baaghi’ and ‘Rock On 2’.
“I’m very excited to be working on ‘Half Girlfriend’ and the ‘Ok Kanmani’ remake’, I’ll start shooting for them after ‘Baaghi’ and ‘Rock On’,” Shraddha said at the launch of photographer Dabboo Ratnani’s calendar.
Arjun Kapoor has been finalized to star opposite Shraddha in the adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s ‘Half Girlfriend’, to be directed by her ‘Ek Villain’ director Mohit Suri.
The remake of Mani Ratnam’s Tamil film ‘O Kandhal Kanmani’ will be helmed by ‘Saathiya’ director Shaad Ali and will reunite her with Aditya Roy Kapur after their blockbuster ‘Aashiqui 2’.
Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions will produce the film and it will have music by A.R. Rahman.

Karan Johar has become the king of buying copyrights and remaking films man. Last year it was Brothers before that it was Agneepath and now Ok Kanmani. We need original and new stories to be adapted into films not remake. Karan Johar is good as a director with original films but as a producer he is on a remaking high.
Rock On 2 coz the first one was classic not fan of Arjun Rampal but in Rock On he nailed it highly excited about his character
And by the way would have loved to see Kriti Sanon in Half Girlfriend. In the book the female character is described to be tall at 5’8 and Kriti Sanon perfectly fits the description where as Shradhha Kapoor is only 5’6.

salman since receiving rajiv gandhi award is not willing to take awards. Even when he wins,sb else take it on his behalf. Salman is like rajni & filmfare declare that these two megastars dont need awards to become legends.salman khan was offered devdas,bajirao mastani,chak de india. Salman lost the first two films because of ash. For chak de india,salman charged at that time 7cr & yash raj had been bargaining to give less fees which they also did with kumar sanu who himself confessed it. That why yash raj is not being able to sign depika or kangana. Besides salman has to do films with his brother after every 3years. salman upcoming movies in 2017 are possibly dabangg 3 & one film written by bajrangi bhaijaan famous script writer directed by a.r.murrugados produced by atul agnihotri. Heroine dependent wtf, Varun’s career speaks for itself. He has not been doing movies with so called very popular actresses like Deepika, Katrina, Priyanka and Kareena. Why downgrade others when your favourite actor can’t compete.
