All is not going well for Alia Bhatt these days. The actress who had a dream start to her career with ‘Student of the Year’, never looked back giving successful movies like ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’, ‘2 States’ and critically acclaimed ‘Highway’.
2015, however, has not been a good year for Alia. First, her much awaited film, ‘Shaandaar’ tanked at the box office and now she suffered minor burns.
The incident happened during the Big Star Entertainment awards event that was held last weekend in Mumbai. It is being said that Alia suffered burns on her arms and face because of the fire crackers that were being burnt on stage during the show.
The incident, which happened around 10.30 pm is said to have shocked everyone, because for an actor, facial burns can prove to be disastrous. Fortunately, sources at the Big Star Entertainment awards have confirmed that the burns were minor.
Alia was quickly taken home for rest and is recovering at the moment.
