Zarine Khan’s Hate Story 3 has entered the Top 15 highest openers of 2015. It’s by far the least expensive film in the Top 15, with the cost-of-productions as less as 1/10th of some movies. For example, the landing cost of Bombay Velvet was Rs 120 crore. Hate Story 3, which was produced and marketed for less than Rs 15 crore, has collect 86% more than Bombay Velvet on Day 1.
Hate Story 3 has also collected more than much bigger films (both in terms of star cast and costs) like Baby, Hero, Tanu Weds Manu Returns, Piku, Drishyam, Katti Batti, Hamari Adhuri Kahani, Mr X.. just to name a few.
Hate Story 3 is already a profitable film T-Series and if it remains steady through the course of the weekend, it’ll be a bigger ROI hit than 90% of film releases this year.

The opening day collections of HS 3 proves one thing that small movies have worked big time in 2015 . Just to name a few – DLKH, Piku, KKPK, Talvar, PKP 2 and now HS 3 . The opening day collections are just superb considering the starcast and the budget . Some people will call it is because of sequel factor but Hate Story is not a huge franchise because Hate Story 2 was a Flop . But yes such kind of movies have worked big time in mass centres . The trailer got a overwhelming response and the music was nice . I am expecting the same level of collections on Saturday and Sunday . Even if the movie crashes on Monday if will be a success at the Box Office . After seeing such kind of collections i am expecting Hate Story 3 to be one of the Biggest Hits of 2015 . In terms of ROI TWMR is till now the biggest Hir of 2015 and BB comes 2nd . @ Indicine I have asked you many times before and i will ask you once again what is the total domestic nett collections of Bahubali (Tamil +Telugu +Hindi) versions .
