Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, along with their director Imtiaz Ali, took a train from Mumbai to New Delhi, to promote their upcoming film ‘Tamasha’.
The 12 hour journey on the Suvidha Express was covered by the media.
It was Ranbir Kapoor’s first train journey in India, but Deepika used to travel by ‘sleeper class’ during her days as a state-level Badminton player.
Deepika said “I used to travel a lot by train when I played state-level badminton, but never travelled 1st class”
Ranbir, who was born in the super-rich Kapoor family, has never travelled on Indian Railways “I have only traveled once in a train and that was in the USA,so this is my second train journey” he said.
