Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor will be the new host of television show ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’. He replaces Rohit Shetty on a show that has been previously hosted by Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra.
‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ will be shot in Argentina, where celebrities like Jay Bhanushali, Sidharth Shukla and Faisal Khan will be party of the stunt-based reality show.
The theme this year will be ’Kabhi Peeda, Kabhi Keeda’. 14 celebrity contestants will overcome their fears when faced with extreme situations, confronted with danger and challenges in the show.
Other contestants are Jay’s wife Mahhi Vij, former Miss India Parvathy Omanakuttan, ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ star Sana Saeed, Tanishaa Mukerji, Himmanshoo Malhotra, Aishwarya Sakhuja, Tina Dutta, Vivan Bhatena, Indian hockey player Yuvraj Walmiki and dancing stalwarts Mukti Mohan and Raghav Juyal.
The show will be aired on Colors early next year.
Talking about comparison with Akshay and other celebs who have hosted the show, Arjun who was last seen in ‘Tevar’, said ”I think the audience won’t tend to compare…With Akshay and me, the age group is different.. I don’t think there will be a major comparison that way. He’s (Akshay) somebody who has achieved a lot in his life. Rohit is also another fantastic personality, and I have my unique personality.”

@Indicine I don’t know whether you aware or not, but I read a new article on Salman Khan that he put on 15 kg for his upcoming movie Sultan and there is a recent pic of him in which he looks amazing with a muscular body, in article it’s mention that he is working very hard for Sultan and he putting so much efforts for this movie. And also Salman said something abt his current routine and workout. So @Indicine can plz publish an article on this and put ur views on this.

Horrible decision. He is the worst host ever. Specially for khatron ke khiladi kind of show where fitness is everthing. And he is the fattest of all in industry. I dont even rank him as an actor. If he was not boney kapoor’s son he must have been a sweeper somewhere.

KKK is one of my most favourite shows . Akshay and Rohit Shetty were brilliant in hosting because they have a energetic personality . Akshay has a great sense of humour and Rohit is someone who helps the contestants and motivates them to do better . PC was a pathetic and hosting is not his cup of tea . Now Arjun is the host and the show has been super successful and we will see what kind of response and TRP this season will get . I am happy that they changed the location from South Africa to Argentina as it is a new country and it will be an exciting experience . So in 2016 Arjun will have Ki and Ka and Fear Factor .
Its a sad day /time when a fat fannyless ugly gunda is replacing our hapless joker boy…!
Arjuna should also replace joker boy in all joker boys future projects- atleast costs will be kept low…!
