Dum Laga Ke Haisha was poor on its first day, as the film collecting Rs 1.1 crore at the domestic box office. While the opening day business is extremely low, the reports are very good and the film has shown decent growth from Saturday.
The Ayushmann Khurrana starrer has been made on a budget of around 11 crore (including print and advertising), so the film has a chance to be success as long as the weekend collections are somewhere around the 5.5 – 6 crore range and the business on Monday is around the same level as Friday.
The other release this weekend, Ab Tak Chappan 2, had a significantly wider release as compared to Dum Laga Ke Haisha, but the collections of both movies was lower than the Day 8 business of Varun Dhawan’s Badlapur.

It’s the most critically acclaimed film of the year followed by Badlapur and Baby. By critics reviews, I never mean The ones of TOI or BH.

It needs 25 crore to get Hit tag…while badalpur has droped 80% from last friday and has collected 1.5 crores from 1600 screens in week two…it had more screens then Ab tak…1400 screens and Zor lga….789 screens

First time a big banner like yashraj came up with method actors instead of big stars who dont even know what acting is really about.
A real simple story without any extra masala which defines the struggles of arrange marriage and a strong message that love comes in all sizes. A must watch movie if you want to see a fine piece of acting by all the actors.
