Not too long ago, Shahrukh Khan had said in an interview that his upcoming film ‘FAN’ does not require a popular leading lady. But since Yash Raj Films was extremely secretive about the entire project, very little information about the film had leaked.
A source close to YRF had earlier informed us that they weren’t too keen on announcing the name of the leading lady either.
Now, the mainstream media has reported that supermodel Waluscha De Sousa, who was seen opposite SRK in a Hyundai commercial, was signed to play the lead opposite the superstar.

A leading daily quoted a source as saying ”It’s not a regular flick that has quintessential roles for a hero and heroine. The casting process of the film has been unusual. They’ve picked Waluscha, who is not from the industry, as the leading lady. She was a prominent supermodel after participating in a beauty pageant in 2000, but she took a break after marrying fashion choreographer Marc Robinson. Now, they have separated. Waluscha took special training in acting for this film. She has already started shooting with Shahrukh in south Mumbai and at an Andheri studio.”
The source also added that Waluscha wasn’t too keen on doing the film as she had no experience in acting. She had to undergo training before she started shooting for the film.
Actresses like Anushka Sharma and Deepika Padukone, who starred opposite Shahrukh Khan in their debut films, have gone on to make it big in the industry. Is Waluscha De Sousa the next big thing?

Srk is most humble and caretaker actor in Bollywood. He always ensure his costar also get credit of his film unlike some bully actor who take away all credit of even script writer, director, spot boy etc. this is a reason why Deepika, Anushka, priyanka are biggest commertial actress today. Earlier it was kajol, juhi, pritey etc. people forgotton actress like gouri sing, Asin, etc. despite commertial success of their movies. If u recall sushmita sen people will only know main hoon na.
