While Aamir Khan’s transformation for Dangal is breaking news, not-so-popular actors like Randeep Hooda don’t quite get the media coverage that they deserve.
The actor, who will be playing the role of Sarabjit Singh, has lost more than 18 kgs of weight in less than a month.
The Omung Kumar directed film is based on the life of Indian national Sarabjit Singh, who is accused as a spy by Pakistan and sentenced to death by the court.
In April 2013, when Salman Khan’s initiative to get Sarabjit released from jail was gaining momentum, he was stabbed by Pakistani jail inmates in the prison. 6 days later, he succumbed to his injuries and passed away at the age of 49.
He spent nearly half of his life in Pakistani prison between 1990 to 2013.
The film also stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who plays the role of Sarabjit’s sister and Richa Chadha, who is set to play the role of his wife.
Sarabjit releases in theatres on May 20.
Damn son! I hope the movie does justice to the man himself.
Randeep hooda is a great talented actor. He was the one of the main reasons because of kick’s success along with sajid nadiadwala, nawaz, jackquiline, and solo did release. He overshadowed a certain actor who is still learning ABCD of acting but cant act. Expecting the same for sultana where randeep as a coach will steal the show with his brilliant terrific screen presence and acting.
If Randeep had chosen Airlift over Charles by now Randeep will have been enjoying 100 crs success. I still say airlift can be acted by anyone not movies like Sarabjit ms dhoni. Keep aside harder roles like Sultan Dangal Fan. Never can Akki do those movies
@Rohit, couldn’t agree more mate.
wow hats off to randeep.he has done weight loss for film as Christian bale done in one Hollywood film.randeep always get less coverage and publicity.he true perfectionist rather than some pseudo perfectionist in India.
