Hrithik Roshan has signed ‘Haider’ director Vishal Bhardwaj’s next film, which will be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
While the film is rumoured to be a remake of Hollywood film ‘The Departed’, the makers haven’t yet revealed any details about the film. The title hasn’t been officially confirmed either.
When contacted, a spokesperson of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, confirmed the film, but refused to comment about the subject or title. However, reliable sources say, the film is likely to be a original script and not a remake.
Bhardwaj has earlier directed critically acclaimed films like Haider, Omkara, Makdee, Kaminey and Maqbool. Widely regarded as one of the best directors in the industry, Bhardwaj is yet to direct a film that has gone on to be a runaway hit at the box office.
This would also be the first time that he would be directing a superstar, an actor who is considered to be one among the Top 5 most bankable stars in the industry.

@ajinkya Shahid is 100 times better actor than akshay. Akki has pathetic dialogue delivery and zero acting skills. But Shahid is still behind Ranbir and HR in terms of acting.

This is a really big news for me and all the Hrithikians . I was hearing about this but i am happy to see this has been officially confirmed . Vishal Bhardwaj is a brilliant director . I have seen Omkara and Haider and both were brilliant films . I have also seen Makdee which was a really sweet movie . After Haider people have started to respect Vishal . Regarding the script let us see whether it is a Remake or an Original movie . If it is a Remake of The Departed then i think it is a great move because it was a commercial and critical success . It also won the Academy Award for Best Movie . It is ranked 45 on Imdb’s Top 250 . If it is an original movie then it will be better . Great to see Hrithik working with Vishal with lyrics by Gulzaar Saab . I am just waiting to know the genre of the movie …… After Mohenjo Daro Hrithik will once again deliver a Solid Performance and brilliant movie . Shahid kapoor is better than hritik in terms of cute look and comic timings.both are legendry dancers so no comparision possible.after 5 years both rule bollywood,hritik in safe place,shahid need some great scripts.

should I laugh? ? Now it looks like our brainless akkian @Ajikya has more knowledge than Vishal sir! He should know that Vishal sir has signed Hro for his next film for some “reasons”. BTW, stop saying craps like Sahid is better than Hro. Hro’s 4 filmfare awards are enough to prove his intensity and versatility in acting . Hro’s dance-steps look much more clean and clearer compared to shahid’s steps.
