The heartthrob of millions and zillions, and one of the best actresses of all-time Madhuri Dixit who ruled Bollywood for almost three decades will make her comeback in an action-packed film.
We have a few exclusive stills from her upcoming film ‘Gulaab Gang’, which is produced by Anubhav Sinha.
Madhuri sports a fearless and gutsy look with bruises on her face and hands. She is said to be playing the character of social activist and leader of the ‘Gulabi Gang’ Sampat Pal Devi (who was seen on Bigg Boss 6).
Directed by debutant Soumik Sen, ‘Gulaab Gang’ also features Juhi Chawla, Mahi Gill and Tannishtha Chatterjee.

@Samrat, Madhuri is in her mind-40s. She made her debut in 1988. More than 2 decades, close to 3 decades :)

Madhuri ruled only for one decade, the 90s. She was not a top star in the 80s, there were other heroines who were far bigger stars. He also disappeared quite early on in the 2000s, obviously due to the indian masses not caring much for 30+ female lead actresses.
Its hard in India for a female star to rule more than a decade, due to the type of movies that are made. Even the male lead actors play roles of much younger characters than they are in real life. You don see the Salman Khans and SRKs play 40-something with teenage kids and what not.
Being a MD fan, I was eagerly waiting for the first look of GG. But this dissappoints. Yes, woman power, strong, everything is right.. But a 40+ actress flying high to take on goons herself Grrrrrrr … I seriusly wish the movie is good !!
Pics are good but I hope content is fresh and does not merely rely on Madhuri’s smile or dance.Film should show different side of MD the way English Vinglish had good content and showed different side of Sridevi.
