Introduction
From the makers of the acclaimed Band Baaja Baaraat comes a film with a very interesting title - Ladies vs Ricky Bahl - directed once again by Maneesh Sharma.
The film produced by Yashraj Films stars Ranveer Singh, who won most Best Actor (Debut) awards last year and Anushka Sharma, who also won the hearts of many with her fabulous performance as Shruti Kakkar in Band Baaja Baaraat.
Ladies vs Ricky Bahl is a romantic comedy, where Ranveer Singh plays the role of Ricky Bahl a charming conman, who cons girls for a living. Enter Anushka Sharma and Ricky finally meets his match.
Super model turned actress Dipannita Sharma has been signed on to play a key role.
Aditya Chopra is credited for the story, Devika Bhagat for the screenplay and Habib Faisal for the dialogues. Music, which played a key role in the success of Band Baaja Baaraat, will be composed by Salim Sulaiman and the lyrics will be penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya.
The shooting for Ladies vs Ricky Bahl begins in April 2011 and 9th December 2011 has been locked as the release date.
